Making sure your staff are working correctly and safely is massively important  and without ensuring proper training is done, you may find yourself in difficult legal situations. 

Why do I need a health & safety video?

In short, insurance. Some insurance providers are now asking businesses to invest in health and safety videos in order to provide better quotes. The reason they do this is because they know that employees will retain twice the amount of information when watching a purpose made video than they do when reading text, which isn’t very surprising when you think about how much we now surround ourselves with video and screens. 

You can also guarantee every person who goes through the video training has received a clear and consistent message, the exact same as the last group and the next group. Video will also provoke questions and discussions with instructors able to add further information if necessary. 

Is it more expensive?

Video costs will often seem higher than the alternative at first sight. Video is an investment and the higher cost payment is normally just a one off payment which covers your health & safety needs for the foreseeable future. They are also easy and cost-effective to update when necessary and work out much cheaper than a potential lawsuit or bringing an external person in each time you need new health & safety training
